The adverts on Spotify started becoming seriously unbearable, so I wrote Blockify to automatically turn down the volume until the advert was over. Initially using a text list of adverts, that needed to be updated every time a new advert came out, it now can detect adverts without a list, this makes it unique.
Features: Mutes only Spotify. Play your own MP3s during adverts. Control Spotify via keyboard hotkeys. Easy to use, totally portable.
