This unique program is an "in-house" training course designed for training an unlimited number of students.
This computer based interactive training course includes training for all CDL endorsements. Training areas include: • Introduction to the CDL • General Knowledge • Air Brakes • Combination Vehicles • Hazardous Materials • Transporting Passengers • Doubles/Triples • Tankers
This program is perfect for any company needing to train drivers for their commercial drivers license. Train students with no CDL, or train your current CDL holders for additional endorsements. There are no licensing fees or service charges. Once purchased, this program easily installs onto your Windows PC.
Each student logs into the system using a unique user name and password. Once logged in, the student may start from the beginning of the course, or select the endorsement that they wish to obtain. If the student logs out of the system before completing the course, the system will bookmark where the student left off, so the course can be completed the next time the student logs in. The program also consists of 7 CDL tests. These multiple choice tests are uniquely designed to resemble the actual CDL test, as closely as possible. Students scores are displayed at the end of each test. If the student does not pass the test the first time, they can go back and retake it at any time.
The Administrator section of the course is an extremely useful function that allows administrators (teachers) to log into the system and track each student's progress in each course. Administrators can create printable reports and/or export the information to an outside source for creating reports.
The CDL-CBT Course also comes with important printed documents related to commercial drivers license testing (separate from the software), such as CDL Disqualification rules, HazMat Tables, Pre-Trip Inspection procedure charts for all types of vehicles, CDL Classifications chart, sample CDL Road Test completion form, Rule of Seconds, and other visual aids.
