ConvDB is targeted at the government user and allows to collect data about criminal convictions and store them in a database. The database contains information about the sentence imposed, offender information and details about which law was infringed. This program will also generate statistics, which can be released to the public. The statistics contain useful information such as average prison sentence for each crime. It also has functionality to backup the database and to manage who can access or modify the tables generated by this software. A PostgreSQL server version 9.0 or later is required, which can be obtained free of charge. This program can also operate in offline mode (without connection to PostgreSQL server) and later synchronize.
