"Product is ok but Customer Service is non-existent"

ProsEliminates a lot of work for the non professional person.
ConsControls are harder to access/find in the new version.
Customer service is non-existent. Three of us in my office have been emailing CS questions for nearly a month with no response.
SummaryWe own versions Flipbook Pro 3 and Flipbook Pro 4.3.3 and think the previous version much better that the newer version, seemed to be much easier to work with for the non-pro. Even though, if Customer Service ever responded to our questions then the newer version may be just as good as previous one. I recommend looking at some of the other flip products before jumping in.

"Useful Tool for Making Flipbooks"

ProsI have tried the software for about a week before I purchase it. I updated to the version 4.1.0 from its site. Some good points I found:
1. it offers free update and free templates.
2. it supports preview settings and changes in real time. Very nice!
3. its UI looks great and easy for beginners.
4. its latest version provides the code for embedding. It makes convenient for users.
5. can make flipbook of multiple languages.
ConsIt would be better if they can provide more templates and scenes.
SummaryI made several flip ebooks with it. In short, the tool is very easy to use and can do what it says. I made a review here expecting that the developer can provide us more templates.

Support many output formats
Easy to use for beginners
ConsCannot afford to its price in order to create one flip book.
SummaryGenerally speaking, Ncesoft flipbook maker is a nice software for making flash flipping books. I especially love its intuitive interface which makes it very easy to use. I have tried many other similar products, but not as easy as this one.
I downloaded more templates from its website. They are looking so stylistic.
Besides, this software is good for users who don't have skills about codes, scripts and etc as it requires no programming work.

ProsNone......price was great but you get what you pay for.
ConsJust for your reference, here are a few bugs.1. Links do not work with the Chrome browser.2. Each time I add a link and change the link color, the custom color does not stay when I add it and I have to do it over again for each link.3. I get an out of range error when adding some links.4. Some links show when I publish and some links don't.5. Some links show several times in the same location.6. Some links show very fuzzy.7. Links do not show at all in the mobile versions on iPhone.This company does not have an office in the US and only has limited email support via someone named Carly.
SummaryI bought the software on 5/31/13. My developer found out we had major problems on 7/2 and began to contact support to resolve the issues listed above. After being jacked around for almost a month and multiple requests for a refund, they denied the request in writing because they said it was past 30 days. These people should be in jail for this kind of crap. Spread the word and put these thieves out of business. TIP: buy 3D Issue. GREAT product, GREAT support and IMMEDIATE response time. Super people who you can talk to on the phone to get any very minor issue instantly resolved.

Hi alancolvin59,As the problems you mentioned above, i have discussed with our software developers and tested the software again, can you kindly let me respond you here? The 1st problem, as the output flipbook need to use the swf file, but Chrome browser automatically shields the pop-up window, the problem is still exist, we will continue to take our efforts to solve this problem.The 2nd-6th problems, now our software is updated to version 3.6.10, and we test these problems, now these issues have been resolved.The 7th problem, Generally the link is ok on iPhone, but if the link is not available on your iPhone, we suggest you use Add Hotspot button instead of Add link button to create links.Thanks for using our product. "No company information makes suspect"

ProsI cannot purchase this software or even spend the time trying it when the company is hiding who/where they are. There is no company information anywhere on the site; you have no idea who owns this company or where they are located. Looking up the website address shows that it is a hidden address via proxy at godaddy. No company that wishes to sell a product to the public can hide itself and expect you to purchase its products. Until this company fully presents itself as to who they are and where they are so that we can contact them as we wish as needed, all positive reviews for this product and the company itself, should be avoided and considered unreliable.
ConsNo company information. NO one should deal with a company that hides who it is and where they are located.

ProsThe original Flipbook Maker worked fairly well. The company admits to being aware of the issues and advises they are in the process of correcting them. However, they have not given a timeframe.
ConsThe Flipbook Pro version has many glitches, including freezing and being incompatible with Apple products and mobile devices. Youtube videos does not show and the embedded audio cannot be heard.
SummaryI urge you to read this prior to purchasing this software.I owned the basic Flipbook Maker, but needed the features outlined in the Pro version. Prior to upgrading to Kvisoft Pro, I specifically asked if the software was compatible with Apple & Android device as stated on their website. Carly from the company responded to my query and advised, "Thank you for your email. Yes, you can add audio by upgrading to flipbook maker professional version, please pay $200.0 price difference in this page: https://usd.swreg.org/cgi-bin/s.cgi?s=132312&p=132312-fbm_pro3&q=1&v=2&d=0Any question, please feel free to contact me. Immediately after upgrading, I discovered that was not the case. Youtube videos would not load and the software kept freezing. When I emailed support, Carly responded with the following message, "To use our software more easily, you can refer to our help document attached in this program. It's under help menu on upper right."Let me stress that the help document is a joke. I discovered without help from the company or their document, that the issue was that Youtube issue was due to the my not being connected to the Internet at the time. The freezing issue remains unexplainedNow comes the major flaw with Kvisoft Pro...After publishing my magazine I discovered that the audio interviews I inserted cannot be heard on any Apple or Android and the Youtube video I added cannot be viewed at all.Once again, I contacted support and Carly, who is apparently the only rep within the company, responded stating the following, "Sorry for any inconvenience. Yes, these 2 problems exist. For 1st problem, yes, you must keep internet works when adding Youtube video, since it needs downloading from web, that video is not from your local computer.2nd problem, we are trying best to develop version supports Youtube video directly play on iPad/ iPhone.But at this moment, you can view it by this way: adding link of your Youtube video to flip page, then when you click it on ipad, it will pop up browser to open the link of your Youtube video. After, you can view that video on ipad/iPhone. Any question, please feel free to contact me."This reply dates back to 9/3/12. Since then, I have sent countless emails complaining about the issue and requesting a full refund. All I have received thus far is a canned response from Carly advising, "Sorry for any inconvenience. It make take about 10-15 business days. Since we also have several other issue to be fixed, so it will take some days. Your understanding and patience is highly appreciated.Any question, please feel free to contact me."It goes without saying that misled me and continues to mislead the public with the functionality of their product. What's stated on their website is entirely erroneous so please save your money and DO NOT purchase their product. There are many other companies on the web that offer a better product and service. Just be sure to do your research into the company before purchasing.I plan to file my complaint with as many agencies as I can. Those of you who were also duped may consider doing the same.

Hi there, thanks for the review, it has saved me a lot of grief. I have been looking all over for a flipbook software that allows me to add mp3's and youtube videos and allows me to embed the ebook on my website. I work on an Apple. I have yet to find anything that will do this. Did you find a solution to your problem. Thanks for any insight you can give.

Prosnot that i can see. I wasted my time with this one.
ConsFree trail is useless. It has a big bar across the file that says "Evaluation Copy." Unless you buy the full version, you cannot use it. I wish I would have known that. I would not have wasted my time downloading it.

"Simple to use, good results for the most part"

ProsAttractive interface and some clever effects for those who would use them (yellow flower petals blowing across your book, etc). HTML output is plain and simple with only two files you'd have to import to your website, .html and .swf.
ConsIt would not accept one of the PDFs we needed to include. After instead preparing that page as a high-res JPG it took it fine, but the quality was lacking. Making things worse, their 30-day trial imposes a large WATERMARK in the middle of your book.
SummaryThis program is likely fine if your needs are not too demanding. Don't confuse this with their free version, which is extremely limited, including the fact that their free one will not accept PDFs. After trying the free one and quickly seeing that it didn't meet our needs (i.e. an online magazine), we then installed this trial alongside Flipbuilder's $99 PDF Flip program. At half the price we had high hopes for this, since they looked similar. In the end we went with Flipbuilder. Their trial also has a (smaller) watermark, but quality was consistently good and it accepted every PDF we fed it.
