Connect to different telescopes from one single interface.
HSPI is a new software expecially designed for joint astronomical imaging and pixel-to-pixel image elaboration. It has various features and enhanced compatibility, it works on Windows, Linux and MacOS.
HSPI supports as input local files, AVI movies and local or remote ASCOM/INDI CCD cameras and peripherials.
Every time you open one or more files, HSPI opens an stream (a video composed by the selected images), in case you connected to a camera, HSPI opens a new stream and begins capturing and displaying frames.
You can elaborate (stack) instantly the images of the streams, in parallel or sequentially.
With a single application you can control multiple cameras, control exposure of all cameras simultaneously and elaborate frames captured.
An advanced aligning system permits different focal lenght telescopes, tilted or misaligned images or cameras, to be used in parallel.
The dark design of HSPI permits its usage in low light environments, such as an astronomical observatory.
There are various plugins: from brightness/contrast controls to pixel-to-pixel operations, wavelenght driven LRGB synthesis and dark frames capturing, various plugins pack will be available for the users, with new or improved functionalities.
The functionalities of HSPI can be enhanced by adding custom plugins, external libraries can also be used, and a stacking API documentation will be provided for developers.
You can save a sequence of frames before alignment, after alignment and preprocessing, and after final elaboration in HSPI, even during capture.
HSPI is cross-platform: it works with .NET Framework on windows, with Mono on Linux and MacOS.
Version 1.0.2: some layout changes, improved functionalities, bugfixing.
Operating systems:
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows
