i2k Retina, based on DualAlign's i2Align image registration and recognition algorithm, is the most sophisticated software package in the world for automatically aligning and montaging retinal images. i2k Retina can create wide field-of-view montages of color fundus images, allowing users to see much of the retina in a single, seamless display. It can align fluorescein images to provide a stable view of the retina over the stages of circulatory filling, and it can be used to combine color fundus images with fluorescein images, relating the surface appearance to the blood flow images. Users have even applied i2k Retina to montaging microscopy sequences of the layers of the rat retina.

Version 2.1.6 includes the following improvements: - Fixed a crash issue during loading small resolution images.
Improved pairwise alignment decision for small resolution images.
