K3-Cottage is a stand-alone professional application intended for 3D design of log and timber houses and log structures of all kinds. The designer creates the detailed 3D model while the system automatically generates the complete set of documentation required both for MANUFACTURE and ASSEMBLAGE of the future house.
The uniqueness of the program lies in the possibility to directly work with the specific components of the log house and to alter their parameters at any time. The designer can add and delete log courses from walls, adjust log profile dimensions at any stage of the project, define shape and type of log (board) notches and joints, add through bolts, treenails and screwjacks and much more.
The main features include:
- Fully adjustable parameters of log wall material, log profiles, notches, joints, openings, materials, etc.
- Production of documentation for complete circle from sales to manufacture and to construction (Front views, Section drawings, Wall plans, Floor plans, Plans of courses, Log specification table, Log cutting table, Material consumption table, Notches & Log ends table, etc.)
- Powerful visualization module allowing to create landscape and to inscribe house into it, to populate house with interior items from the supplied library and to make a video of the walk inside and around the house
