melted rapidly, and people escaped to the mountains, that soon became
islands. Not accustomed to severe conditions, without electricity; clear water;
and air-conditioners; humanity destroyed the remains of civilization.
Epidemics, destitution, looting and depravity threw humanity back for many
centuries. Strange items the ocean brought were the only mention of culture and
life of distant ancestors...
