ProsThe most reliable of the tools I've tried. Using it currently at work to keep things running smoothly during holidays but it's also proving useful on my main PC. Works well with the general office apps I use, no problems with Excel here. Support is good, I got completely stuck with one macro but the support guy helped me get it working.
ConsQuite a few macros need small tweaks to get them working 100%; I usually end up needing to reduce the playback speed a little. Took me a while to work out how to define a hotkey to run a macro.
SummarySome tasks are done very easily while for others there's a bit of a learning curve, but hang in there because it's worth it.

"Doesn't really work"

ProsGreat idea. It sort of works, allowing changes of file extensions in Windows 7 for instance, suppressing the annoying "Do you really wanna?" prompt.
ConsMacro recording with Excel windows doesn't work at all--consistently causes PTFB to crash. Worse, PTFB induces a bug which causes selected items (both in Excel and in file directories) to remain highlighted even after something else is selected. Copy, paste ceases to function properly because you can't select things. Only way to fix it is to reboot--shutting down PTFB doesn't kill the bug.
SummaryNot even close to ready for prime time. Sad, because it showed such promise in killing off annoying make-work Microsoft prompts.

ConsNot good for multiple commandssupport is limited
SummaryIt's possible it could work for many more people with the right support. I would use this product and rate it much higher if they would agree to phone support or screen sharing to help with executing multiple commands.
