This easy to use software integrates with your desktop's notification centre and automatically detects the music you're currently listening to using iTunes or Windows Media Player. Song Buddy displays the name of the currently playing song and the artist and lets you quickly look up the artist's profile, browse their photos and previous releases. The software also allows you listen to samples of the artist's albums and share the music you're listening to with your friends on SMS, Twitter and Facebook.
Furthermore, Song Buddy enables you to search for artists by name and find out when and where they're playing concerts, as well as providing suggestions on similar artists to the ones you're listening to. Song Buddy proves to be a useful resource for a music lover and can be downloaded and used for free, without needing to sign-up or create a user account. Song Buddy is also available as an iPhone/ iPad app on the iTunes store.
