The Space Toad MIDI Sequencer is an Audio/MIDI sequencer with VST support available in a free beta test version. MIDI and audio clips may be arranged on up to 64 tracks. For each track there is a real-time groove control. A special tuning module allows the entry not only of standard MIDI notes but also of microtones. Besides the application features a piano roll editor, a polyphonic score editor as well as a list editor that allows to edit MIDI text events, too. Audio clips can be modified by an integrated audio editor. Finally there is a 16 channel audio mixer for the audio rendering of MIDI events featuring a native modular synthesizer complete with effects. What's new in this version: Dynamic audio speed adaption and external MIDI sync were added.
