ProsProgram FREE ( another program cost money and don't have so many good functions)
You can change video change your voice in audio , add music to your microphone, change face in live chat , broadcast your video directly from splitcam.
ConsAds , Banned in program , but the program its free , th concurents cost 40$ and dont work so good ! For me its good price !

"Massive malware"

ProsIt's great for remembering how to remove malware if you're getting rusty.
ConsWill inappropriately touch your Chrome and IE (probably others) and will rewire your search engine, new tab, etc. Will force-direct google searches to random sites like fathead.com when you expected a google results page. Can't be uninstalled in Tools | Extensions, so you'll have to troll the registry for "SearchProtect" and "conduit" and start hacking away, plus the obligatory reboot in safe mode to delete the exe and folders. Lots of laughs.

ConsContains Consuit browser hijacker, toolbar, malware.
SummaryDo not install. Anything containing Conduit or similar malware should be banned from cnet.. yet a number of 'free' items seem to have it.

ProsI use this free webcam software just few months , but i like it and recommend it to other, because if you need some webcam and video software for fun and work you must have SplitCam on you PC.I use new beta with video streaming to popular websites like livestream and ustream and justin.tv and i use cool webcam effects in skype and yahoo , when i speak with my family and friends .
Conssplitcam ask me to install some toolbar , but you can decline it in installation process if you want.
Summaryi like this software and i really recommend it to other !

ConsMy security would not allow certain parts of the program to be installed
SummaryJudging by the pop ups my security was sending me I am assuming there is some backdoor element in the software. That was good enough for me to not bother spending time to find a solution to installing it.

ProsI have been looking for something like this that will allow me to mix a good motion detector with a good webcam application that has a questionable motion detector.It's freeIt's easy to use
ConsDont like the ad on the setup, but then you dont have to keep looking at it and presumably that is what keeps it free and so I*'ll manage

SummaryMy dad says this software is "dangerous" just because of the ad on the side. He says that this could be streaming live to the internet right now. w0w. Does the ad on the side change? Cuz it says "fee adult video chatting" or something like that. ProsCan't say- I uninstalled when it wouldn't run.
Consreconfigured browser search to bing. gave 'insufficient resources' when started.
SummaryNO ONE get's to reconfigure my browser without permission, what's worse, it asked permission, I unchecked the boxes, AND IT DID IT ANYWAY.
