ConsONCE DOWNLOADED, ON YOUR MACHINE FOR LIFE UNLESS REMOVED MANUALLY FROM THE REGISTRY!!!
SummaryI stupidly downloaded this from their site thinking it would let me install an app called Taptu. Well, first of all their is NO TAPTU APP FOR PC -- just a website version and second, I COULD NOT uninstall it AT ALL!! It would go through the uninstall process, even go so far as to pull up a webpage saying that it had been removed. Utter crap!!! The program was STILL ON MY MACHINE!!! I had to run the registry editor (which is always risky) to delete whatever entries I could find and hope for the best. As far as I am concerned, this company is HIGHLY suspicious and they are offering NOTHING BUT MALWARE!!! I wouldn't even give this a star at all, but alas, I have to.

ProsAny Pros this might have had are negated by the Cons.
ConsLike many programs, it wants to load you with toolbars and added junk that you don't need. But the thing that ticked me off was that in a Google search for a Flipboard app for my PC (I finally discovered that there is not an app for PC), the second choice on the search was results was to "download Flipboard app for PC on allmyapps.com".
SummaryI am a professional PC tech, and no novice to PCs and PC software. This is disingenuous at best, and, I believe, dishonest. CNET, for which I generally have high regard, does us no favors by hosting (de facto recommending) this download.

Prosnice interface, all in one program (it can find, download, install the program for you), you can find absolute any program within allmyapps store
Consyou can not sync or save your programs unless you pay

ProsVery nice idea. The ability to carry all your loved and much used apps from one machine to another seamlessly.
ConsTwitchy installer. Hogs the system, won't let other programs be accessed unless it's minimised, doesn't recognise when it has updated apps.

ProsHave most freeware available. Slow but the search function is pretty fast.
ConsNeed to add the ability to install applications not in their list like MS Office, or in our case the tax software.
