"Email piece does not work with Windows 7."

ProsIndividual Software could care less about Anytime Organizer because if they did it would be a great product. It has an excellent contacts layout which prints out very well. I have used it for years to keep up with my subdivision membership. I update the addresses as neighbors move in and out and send everyone an update. Then every 3 years I have it printed out, spiral bound and distribute. It's quite a bargain for the money. I can't find anything else like it. However: Read my Cons!
ConsI really loved, note: "loved" how I could send an email to all my email address until I got Windows 7. Now it will not link with my default Outlook email. I've contacted "support" and they say it's Windows Internet Explorer's fault and not theirs. WHAT? They could care less, and don't. Support is by sending in a form and they respond or not, usually not. I would pay 5 times what they want if it did all it used to do, mainly email the listings. Now I have to use Excel to manage the emails. It's just half the program it was. If you want to manage the emails DON'T BUY IT.
SummaryI would love to see an option to Anytime Organizer for what I need, but I can't find it. I wish another company would buy it, raise the price and make it work like it should. I used to sing their praises buy Windows 7 was their downfall. They just don't want to invest in fixing the problems. It's their ball, they can take it and go away, which is what they are doing. Too bad.

ProsDEFINITATLY NOT TECHNICAL / CUSTOMER SERVICE !
ConsAlarms go off & if you don't acknowledge, resets after 15 seconds (automatically - not changeable) to one minute, and that window stays open. If PC is left on over night, you have to close hundreds of alarm windows in the morning before you can proceed with tasks. One of several issues their support won't answer you with when contacted.

"Sync to Google calendar has problems"

ProsLooks good and is very easy to use. Short learning curve and you are up and running with a basic calendar.
ConsWhen syncing to Google Calendar, repeating dates don't convert properly. A March 5th Birthday event becomes a 64th day of the year event in Google. That's fine until you hit the first leap year.
SummaryHave used previous versions and been happy. I upgraded for the purpose of syncing to my Google calendar but that hasn't worked out.

ProsCan handle appointments and To Do list fairly easily.
ConsIt's not an attractive package. The notebook look is good, but the font is horrible and apparently cannot be changed. (I haven't figured out how to do it.) It's actually difficult to read. Many features, but aesthetically, not very pleasing.
SummaryNot crazy about the way it works, but could live with that. But the look and especially the font is really pathetic. Just very disappointing. You would think in this day and age they could give you a choice of decent fonts.

"Features don't work"

ProsGreat organizer.
ConsVersion 14 says it syncs with Google calender. You must enter events in Google calender the same way they would be entered in Anytime. It doesn't handle Google events that span days. Certain events won't sync with no indication as why. Any error during the sync process stops the process completely.Submitted three support requests to company tech support and have yet to receive a reply.
SummaryIf you have a previous version it's not worth the cost for the sync feature until they get it right.

ProsI have used AnyTime for several years with no problems on any kind. Upgraded to Windows 7 and it crashed . . . dead.

DOES WORK ON WINDOWS 7 as of 3/20/11--that is, versions 12 and 13 do. They're not perfect, but infinitely better than that pig without lipstick, Outlook.
