Pros1) light
2) fast
3) not a bloat water
4) no spam
5) no advertisement
6) great great support team, it is my real personal experience
when you write them, they respond in few hours and try to solve it friendly
even once my data base got corrupted (due to problem in Synching program)
and when I informed them, they suggested to send it to them to be repaired ...
Cons1- nothing I can think of
2- maybe they need to represent themselves more, they are not know to the point they deserve
Summary1) if you want a simple but professional and effective note taker for sure check it
2) I am not working for them, I say it because it is more than 4 years I am writing notes and I have checked many other programs ...

ProsThe pros really are too numerous to list, but here are some in the free version:*Select any text, whether on the internet or in a document file. Hit Ctrl+F12 and the text is saved as an item in a database file. You can then add "tags" which are index tags.*A database can be huge. The theoretical limit is 4 gigabytes.*Ease of use: Just dump everything into one database, and add some index tags. If you want a separate database for a particular subject, you can create one and use it. The free version imposes a limit on the number of databases that you can have open at one time (three, I think). Believe me, though, using just one database works fine. *All of your index tags for all your notes show up in a scrollable column at the left side of the screen. Just click a tag, and all of those notes will be displayed; the others will be hidden.*It works fast and efficiently.*You can change your font and the font size.*You can run searches for words that are not index tags.
ConsI have used this program regularly for more years than I even remember (I think I started using it when it was at something like version 0.9).Honestly, I cannot think of anything that I regard as a con. The most frequent complaint that I see is that CintaNotes does not support saving graphics. I can understand that some people might want graphics. For me, however, that has never been a drawback. Even if CintaNotes had the capability of saving graphics, I would hope to be able to turn off that feature.PLEASE NOTE: Someone said in a review of an older version that CintaNotes installs unwanted toolbars. I cannot remember that this has ever happened. I am very cautious about such things. The person who wrote that may have installed the program with a particular installer that included such a "feature", but I always download the installer directly from cintanotes.com, and I have never had a problem.
SummaryCintaNotes is a free program that I find to be indispensable. I used the free version for years, and the free version is completely sufficient for what I do.Several days ago I upgraded to the professional version. To be perfectly honest, I really did not need to upgrade, but the license fee was inexpensive, and I felt really grateful to have this wonderful program, which the author maintains with updates released at reasonable intervals. You never feel that he has abandoned the program, nor do you have to update every two weeks, as you do with some programs.Usually I am a real tightwad. I am one of those guys who never make a "donation" despite hints that a donation would be appreciated. But I did it in this case, because CintaNotes helps me enormously in things that I do. If I have a thought about a literary work that I am writing, I can just create a new note by bringing up the program (it sits in the tray). I type my note, give it a tag or two, and minimize the program.If I see something on the internet that I can use in a sociopolitical essay or tract that I am working on, I select the text from the internet material, hit Ctrl+F12, and CintaNotes pops up with that text already in a note. All I have to do is to add some tags, and maybe some commentary of my own on the note.Right now I have a database that is still pretty small despite several years of collecting things in it. It is less than 4 megabytes, and consists of only about 1700 notes. It contains notes on dozens of unrelated subjects. I can access all of them in a flash just by clicking on an index tag.

ProsBlazing fast and easy to use, its windows can actually be held on the top layer of the screen! This makes taking notes possible in a way that other programs would make annoying.It situates there for you and can be knocked down into the "minimize" bar as well.Anyone needs CintaNotes. Anyone needs to know that it can take notes wonderfully and you don't have to press "SAVE" to be assured that they note has taken.Why clutter up various folders with odd files when CintaNotes can keep track of all notes -- spontaneous on-the-fly notes, notes worth keeping long-term, notes that you don't know if you'll ever use or not, just-in-case notes, and sporadic records of messages that you (or someone else) wrote that you don't want to forget.It also lets you save as many different databases/files of notes as you like, so it can be multi-purposed. And it comes with both install and standalone portable packages.CintaNotes works great!
ConsCintaNotes still in development means that there can be more features on the way -- which is not necessarily bad in the long-term.It would also be nice if it did bookmarks in special format by assigning a special key to send them to concatenate under a select title.
SummaryQuite the capable note-taking apparatus, it's not likely to disappoint.

ProsShortcut keys has ability to capture notes and lookup notes quickly and efficiently. Great search functionality as well, TAGS and linking makes organizing thoughts and grouping ideas together quick and easy. No learning curve necessary (compared to wikis, etc) Syncs notes online and have notes available on all laptops and PCsFree version has everything I need to stay on top of things and quickly capture ideas before they escape my mind. a "Ctrl -" pops opens the program, start typing and it enters text and filters instantly. F5 opens TAGS and tree structure. "Ctrl +" opens a new clean note to quickly capture! "Ctrl L" creates links to files, urls, folders, other notes! Easy, quick, efficient, and free!
Conswould like to add pics to my notes, current version doesnt allow but can link pic file locations...would like to add a table style to notes, current version doesnt allow..
Summaryoverall a great little, lite (low memory usage, file size) program to quickly capture, organize and link notes together to stay organized. Better and easier to master then wiki notes systems or other 3rd party note taking systems. Free version has all the major features, excellent support as well!

CintaNotes does not add toolbars. this is done by CNET if you download it from there site. Use CintaNotes.com directly and it is just the program no toolbars or ads, nothing
