FlexCV - Computer Vision for Everyone
Until now computer vision has only been accessible to software engineers. FlexCV changes this! It's super easy user interface allows normal people to learn and use computer vision in the real world.
Simply add the parts (Elements) and connect them up.

You can also easily download pre-made setups.
FlexCV is based on OpenCV, giving vast and powerful functionality. OpenCV is used by Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Sony, Honda, Toyota and many more. Now you can easily use it!
Applications
FlexCV is a flexible platform where you decide what to do. You are the one that sets the limit!
Some of the usage we believe it potentially could be used for are:
Machine Vision: For example detecting irregularities on a production line.
Face recognition: Detect and recognize faces
Automatic Face Censorship : Locate faces and sensor them
Face detection and image masking Face detection and image masking
Security and video surveillance: For example it could be used to record only when there is a movement
Image sensor recognition: Can detect a certain object based on it's features or size.
Robotics: ROS will be supported, allowing users to run without a GUI on robots.
3D Sensor: Depth map, triangulation, camera calibration.
Video Editing: Can be used as a non linear video editing tool, allowing effects and processes to be connected up via nodes.

Audio Processing: Will be a great tool for audio editing, processing and analyzing.
Augmented Reality: Overlay 3D models on top of a camera stream.
Video Transcoding: Change the format of video, many formats are support.
Gesture Recognition: Recognize certain gestures, for example a closed hand.
Broadcasting: Stream directly to YouTube and other sites.
Batch Image Processing: Set up a pipeline to work on images and run hundreds of images through it in one click.

FlexCV will be supported on all main computer platforms:
Windows (32 and 64 bit)
Linux - Ubuntu, Debian and more (32 and 64 bit)
Mac OS X - 10.8+

In the future it will be available on Android and IOS smart phones.

Version: FlexCV 0.01
ProsDemo of a completely new software. Very easy to use and completely unique. Never seen anything like it!
ConsThat is not a full version, and have to wait 6 months for it ;) Love it
