Simple DIY installation, simply unscrew the existing TRV by hand and replace with the HeatSave wireless radiator valve. The user friendly software and USB stick lets you wirelessly check and control individual radiators from any Windows laptop or PC. At the touch of a button, turn down the heating in rooms that you're not using. Also plan up to four years in advance for times when the heating will not be in use with the heating holiday diary. A 'hands on' override button on the valve means quick changes are easy from within the room.
1. The HeatSave application allows un-joined TRVs to be joined onto a network controlled by the application software. 2. The HeatSave application allows joined TRVs to be flash upgraded with the latest valve firmware that is downloadable from ftp.tensor.co.uk. 3. The HeatSave application allows heating patterns to be created. Each pattern consists of one or more periods that specify the target temperature that each TRV's radiator must attain. Exception overrides can also be created. 4. The HeatSave application provides communication facilities so that patterns can be downloaded to, and temperature readings retrieved from, each TRV. 5. Version 1.0.8.0 of HeatSave is compatible with valve firmware HSZ02, version 2.0.20, that enables the valve to:
Be upgraded with a flash file downloaded from ftp.tensor.co.uk
Retain patterns, periods, exceptions, boost and child lock settings downloaded from the
application
Transmit, when requested, temperature, battery and version details to the application
Display sequences of coloured LED lights to indicate different valve conditions
Recognise a number of different duration button presses and alter mode accordingly
Activate its internal mechanism to extend or retract the valve pin to regulate the flow of water
into the radiator depending on the pattern requirements and radiator temperature.
6. Network extender devices are not fully supported in this release.
