Picture yourself in a class or lecture hall. The professor is expounding upon a subject you are expected to learn and remember. Unless the course is extremely easy, it's likely you'll want to take notes, but since you can't write down everything, you'll need to condense the information into a summary structure that captures the salient points. Then, at a later time (don't wait too long), you'll revisit your notes and prepare (cram) for the exam. Sound familiar? Quidditas addresses this process in a modern and powerful way. Notes can be easily created and subsequently revised, arranged and refined in a manner that best captures the essence of the subject being studied. With some thoughtful structuring, you can even improve the likelihood that you'll learn and retain the material. Quidditas utilizes a process called "hierarchical tokenization" whereby information can be arranged into an ontological structure that produces "context maps" based on the relationships between informational "tokens". Sound complicated? It can be... but that's entirely up to you! Other features include word searching, hyper linking the automatic generation of quiz questions and multi-language support. By the way, quidditas (kwid-i-tas) is a Latin word referring to the essential nature of something - literally its "whatness". See, you're learning already!
