Renaming batches of files simultaneously allows folders to be kept clean and sorted in a consistent way. Ideal for keeping pictures or digital snapshots, music, movies, texts or any other type of files organized.
15 simple renaming rules can be combined into rulesets, and saved, allowing flexibility and fast operation. The rules contain both basic and advanced options.
Add: Space / Text / Numbers / Date-Time / Path Name / Music Tag / Image Tag;
Remove: Space / Text / Numbers;
Change Case;
Replace: Date-Time / Text / Numbers;
Split Name.
Exif and Mp3 tags can be used in the new name.
Renaming could not be safer with instant visual feedback (including conflict checking) of what will be renamed and the possibility of a full rollback after the renaming has been done.

ProsNice and clean interface and easy to use; The renaming rules are efficient and easy to understand; When files have been renamed it is possible to view the result and undo everything: I find myself using this option quite often, it prevents me from making mistakes and saves time. Another detail I find handy: pictures can be open from the tool itself, that way, if in doubt, you can actually check the picture you're busy renaming; This has saved me several time from making a mistake; Other File Renamers I've tried before would not allow to do this and this is actually one of the reason why I originally started using Ron's Renamer.Simply a very good renamer.
ConsCan't see any; It just works perfectly fine.
