Safer Browser is a fast, secure and private web browser based on the Chromium browser project (the same platform used by Google Chrome) but enhanced with many additional features. The Safer Security Center consists of many key features including 'Safe Browsing' which alerts users to potential malware and phishing sites, 'HTTPS Encryption' ensuring encrypted website communications when supported, 'Extension Sandboxing' which seamlessly blocks unwanted extensions and plugins (a known distribution channel for malware), 'Do Not Track' which gives users more control over tracking settings, 'AdBlock' for speed improvements and blocking of malicious ads, 'Incognito Plus' allowing users to browse the internet privately, 'Active Anti-Virus' which alerts users when they no longer have an antivirus running on their PC, and much more all within a clean layout and intuitive design giving users effortless control of all these features.
