VeckoShield Adblocker will block Advertisements, pop-ups and as well as doing so, protect your computer by providing you with Internet Security to block access to malicious websites. The application uses about 10mb RAM when running, therefore it should not create any performance issue's. It does not conflict, or should not conflict with any applications installed, or running on your system. VeckoShield Adblocker also has a automatic updater, therefore you must wait a few seconds before the application shows up to the desktop (about 2 - 3 seconds), whilst it checks the server if there is a update available. If there is a update to the database, it will silently download the update (database file *.db), and install it to the application automatically. However, if a new version of the executable (not the database, the whole application altogether), it will ask you if you would like to download and install the newer (most recent) version. The application also adds itself to the Startup registry/folder, so you do not need to re-open it when you restart/boot up your computer. Of course, however, you can disable it from the starting up automatically in the Control Panel/MSConfig. (Windows key + R, type in MSConfig and then go to the Startup tab, remove VeckoShield Adblocker). As a summary of the features: Ad blocker;
